Personal health and wellness is an area that most people on Earth are concerned about. Health and wellness is an incredibly important area in our lives. Without it, we become susceptible to things like illness and disease, or even increased risk of injury. There are many products, courses, and even gurus that promote positive health and wellness, but what does that really mean? Are there actual products that can promote personal wellness?

CBD is Nature's Gift of Wellness

If you've been paying attention to the news throughout the last couple of years, you have heard the name CBD, which is short for cannabidiol. CBD is a phytocannabinoid, or plant chemical, that is found in cannabis. There are roughly 120 documented and researched cannabinoids in cannabis, but CBD is quickly becoming mainstream. Why? There are several new studies that mention an array of medical uses of CBD. Taking CBD for wellness is slowly gaining in popularity, and I suspect CBD supplements will be a household staple in the near future. Let's review some recent studies about CBD...

  • Anti Arthritic Responses (2015): Experimental evidence that CBD given at 25 mg/kg per day orally in murine collagen-induced arthritis was efficacious in achieving such a response[anti-arthritic].
  • CBD for Pain (2020): Rising prevalence of the non-psychoactive cannabinoid CBD presents an opportunity for the treatment of intractable chronic pain for which primary treatments are insufficient or not possible.
  • Sedative Effects:  High-dose CBD has a sedating effect. In a study among individuals with insomnia, results suggested that administration of 160 mg/day of CBD increased total sleep time and decreased the frequency of arousals during the night

These are only a few of several newer studies published on CBD. Since the Farm Bill of 2018 deregulated hemp-derived CBD, studies are beginning to skyrocket. Every week, there are new studies being concluded.

What Does Wellness Mean to You?

Supplementing with CBD for wellness sounds like a great idea now, doesn't it? While these studies, and many others, do show the medical efficacy of CBD, it is important to note that the FDA has not authorized CBD for use as a dietary supplement - yet. It is important to keep this in mind when searching for the right CBD product.

We all have a different life experience, and therefore, different needs for personal health and wellness. Improving our wellness is much more complicated than supplementing with a CBD product. Your approach to health and wellness improvement should include, at a minimum, the following:

New Phase Pure CBD Oil
  • Diet plan
  • Exercise routine
  • Supplements that help your body's deficiencies (CBD?)
  • Healthy sleep habits
  • Mentally stimulating activities (i.e.: reading, writing, puzzles)

All of these combined will make up a great plan that is sure to boost your wellness levels exponentially. Some of us may already have a great exercise routine, but perhaps we left out a diet plan? Take some time to develop your wellness plan, and really think about what your own situation is. This isn't something that someone else can do for you, because you know your own body the best. A healthy mind and body are two factors that lead to an extended lifetime. Your wellness plan will make sure that both are in as best shape as possible.

I think you now have a better understanding of personal health and wellness, and how CBD studies show it can, and should, be part of your health and wellness plans. CBD Emporium carries many different brands of only premium CBD products. Our brands go through a rigorous testing process before we carry them in our stores. Anything we sell is sure to be only the best quality CBD on the market. What's your go-to CBD product that helps improve your overall wellness?
