That's right, CBN, an often overlooked cannabinoid is actually a great natural ingredient for sleep.

Too often, sleep gets overlooked. We all know people who have terrible sleep habits and know they SHOULD be getting good sleep, but because of stress or who-knows-what, they don't make it happen. We're also not always sure what the best way to solve the issue is.

CBN is taking center stage in the sleep game.

Josh Townsend explains: “CBN is a very specific cannabinoid that has an indicated ability to directly aid in sleep. It interacts with the body’s natural chemistry and assists with natural sleep without sedation. It is very specific and targeted.” CBN is non-psychoactive and does not cause a "high" feeling. The main difference between CBD and CBN is how they're extracted from the hemp plant, but the end ingredient actually has very different effects.

"People put off sleeping better because they probably already feel like they're trying hard. They probably are! There are, however, a few easy solutions out there that really make a difference." - Dr. Felicia Stoler

CBN has the same sleep power as Valium, but it's natural.

Steep Hill Labs, an independent research facility claims that "CBN is the most sedative of all cannabinoids." and even goes so far to say that "the consumption of 2.5mg to 5mg of CBN has the same results as using 5mg of diazepam (aka Valium).

Why Good Sleep Matters

Loss of sleep results in depleted energy, consistent sleepiness, and increased tension in a person. With all of this in mind, keeping up with functional and healthy relationships because much more challenging than the average person. Additionally, both men and women who are sleep deprived report to have a largely decreased interest in sex.

Sleep plays a huge role in thinking and learning. With reglar lack of sleep, you will be hurting these cognitive processes in many ways. First, lack of sleep impairs attention, alertness, concentration, reasoning, and problem solving. All of which make efficient learning very difficult. Further, throughout the night, several sleep cycles play a role in “consolidating” memories in the mind. If you
don’t get enough sleep, you won’t be able to remember what you learned and experienced during the day.

Last, but probably the most important, lack of sleep and sleep loss over a period of time can put you at risk for serious health problems down the line. Common health issues that might be caused are heart disease, heart attack, heart failure, irregular heartbeat, high blood pressure, stroke and diabetes. So remember, your better sleep tonight will have you feeling awake tomorrow morning, but will also save you from a handful of health issues later in life.
